In 2012, LiLY organized New York City’s first “Celebrate Our Elders Day” and the seminal event was marked by a memorable party in the home of a supporter. LiLY continues this tradition with popular annual events that unite neighborhood elders including an October Celebrate Our Elders Week Luncheon, Spring Picnic, and the Legacies Gala in the fall.
LiLY makes a special effort to support elders in pursuing new, vital life experiences – whether it is a book signing or presentation, support for special projects or exhibits, special birthday or commemoration, and artistic performances.
